WHAT IS THE DIRECTOR'S CUT?
The Director's Cut is where I film your wedding myself. I'm there for the whole wedding day with a real 2000s Sony Handycam, capturing the day as it unfolds, not sitting at the back but right there in the action.
It's the same nostalgic, home-movie look as our camcorder hire, but with 13 years of wedding photo and film experience behind the camera, so there's no reliance on guests remembering to press record.
I'll film your full ceremony and speeches too, home movie style, so the moments that matter are all there alongside the chaos and the fun.
I also shoot with two camcorders, so I'll hand the second one to your guests for extra fun footage along the way.

- Me there for the whole wedding day
- 13 years of wedding photo and film experience, including your full ceremony and speeches
- I'm not sitting at the back with a camcorder - I'm right there in the action
- No reliance on guests remembering to press record
- Two camcorders, so the second can be handed to guests for extra fun footage
- 5-minute Camcorder Film, lightly set to music, with the real sounds of your day woven throughout
- 1-minute Instagram Reel
- Bonus Footage: The Full Camcorder Cut
- The distinctive 2000s aesthetic
A longer cut featuring the best of the day's unfiltered moments, typically 1-3 hours depending on how active guests are with the cameras. It's not a folder of clips, and not technically "raw" either, since anything unusable gets removed and lightly assembled in order. No music, just real ambient sound, rough cuts and the in-between bits other wedding films leave out.
ADD-ON: FUJIFILM FINEPIX DIGITAL CAMERA (+£50)
A digital camera with a film look by day and a direct-flash, 2000s nightclub look by night. Passing it round is a fun all-day activity and very on trend right now. Hand it to your guests at the start of the day and let them go, then get every single photo delivered after. Available with the Director's Cut, the Double Feature and camcorder hire.
DIRECTOR'S CUT OR PASS THE CAMCORDER?
Choose the Director's Cut if you want someone experienced behind the camera for the whole day, with nothing left to chance.
Choose Pass The Camcorder (camcorder hire, from £300) if you'd rather your guests film the day. The camcorders are posted to you, your guests film, and I collect them and edit the footage into your film. It works wherever in the UK you're getting married. Already have your own camcorder? Edits Only is £200.
WANT PHOTOS AS WELL?
The Double Feature - £2500 (value £3700). Full day wedding photography and a nostalgic camcorder film from one person: one vendor, one invoice, one person to brief. Includes everything in the Director's Cut package, plus a free Fujifilm FinePix digital camera for your guests (worth £50). Just mention you'd like photos too when you enquire.

FAQS
DO YOU FILM THE FULL SPEECHES AND CEREMONY?
Yes, but not perfectly. There's no tripod or mic, so it's all covered but in true home camcorder style. I do have a shotgun mic, but it doesn't amplify anything, it just cuts out external sound.
IS THE FOOTAGE ACTUALLY VINTAGE, OR IS IT A FILTER?
Genuine hardware. Your wedding is filmed on a real late-2000s Sony Handycam, recording standard-definition video straight to disk. No app filter, no fake grain added in editing.
DOES IT WORK IN THE DARK, LIKE AT THE EVENING DO?
It'll pick up low light the way real 2000s camcorders always did - a bit grainy, a bit glowy. It's not built for pitch darkness, but that soft, imperfect evening look is exactly the vibe this whole thing is going for. I use a small panel light for very dark rooms though, and it works really well on the dancefloor.
CAN WE ADD A DIGITAL CAMERA TOO?
Yes! For £50 you can add a Fujifilm FinePix digital camera. Its photos have a film look by day and that direct-flash, 2000s nightclub look by night, and passing it round is a fun, very on-trend activity that lasts all day. Hand it to your guests at the start of the day and let them go, then get every single photo delivered after. You choose it on the booking form.
