GUESTS FILM THE DAY
Hand them to guests or set up a dispay area, pass them around - no instructions needed (although they are supplied!), just point and press record.
SEND THEM BACK
I arrange a collection from your home/work - you don't have to do anything, except be home or leave the box in a safe place.
RECEIVE YOUR FILM
All the footage is professionally edited into your finished film, Reel, and Uncut Footage. You'll get the Reel asap and the final film within 2 weeks.

DO YOU DELIVER UK-WIDE?
Yes - camcorders are posted out ahead of your wedding day and returned by post afterward, so this works wherever in the UK you're getting married.
WHAT IF A GUEST DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO USE A CAMCORDER?
That's part of the charm - most people have never used one, and the slightly clumsy, unpolished footage that results is exactly the look this whole style is built around. I do include some instructions though, on a postcard to be displayed and on the cameras themselves.
IS THE FOOTAGE ACTUALLY VINTAGE, OR IS IT A FILTER?
Genuine hardware - real 2000s-era Sony Handycams, not a modern camera with a retro app filter applied afterward.
WHAT WILL WE RECEIVE?
Two digital camcorders, spare batteries, a small panel light for the darker footage such as the dancing, instruction postcards, and depending on what you choose on your booking form, a display case of either a retro metal lunch box (so far I have ET and Jurassic Park available), a pile of VHS tape cases, a wicker hamper, or I can send it in a hard case and you can display how you like. I also include instruction postcards and two mini easels.
DO WE HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
No - there's no deposit to pay upfront. The £500 package price is everything, no extra hold on your card.
WHAT IF WE BREAK OR LOSE THEM?
Normal wear and tear (a scuff, a scratch) is completely fine - no charge. If a camcorder is damaged beyond that, lost, or not returned, you're responsible for the reasonable repair or replacement cost, capped at a maximum of £300. If any damage payment is due, your finished film won't be delivered until that's settled - everything else about your booking stays exactly the same. I have tags on the cameras in case you lose them but try not to!
DOES IT WORK IN THE DARK, LIKE AT THE EVENING DO?
It'll pick up low light the way real 2000s camcorders always did — a bit grainy, a bit glowy. It's not built for pitch darkness, but that soft, imperfect evening look is exactly the vibe this whole thing is going for. I do include one panel light for very dark rooms though! There's no fun in having all black footage and it works really well on the dancefloor.
DO WE GET A SAY IN WHICH DISPLAY BOX OUR CAMCORDERS TURN UP IN?
Yes! Jurassic Park lunch box, E.T. lunch box, a wicker hamper, or just a camera bag you hand around - you pick your favourite on the booking form.
IS THIS ONLY FOR WEDDINGS?
It started as a wedding thing, but it works for any big day you want captured properly imperfectly — hen dos, big birthdays, family reunions. If it's a day worth remembering, it's worth filming.
I regularly go back through the video and can't help but smile - it transports me straight back to the day and all the emotions!
